Description
This Lee Morgan "Search For The New Land" LP is a must-have for jazz fans. With its high-fidelity sound and original cover, this vinyl record is a timeless classic. The 12" LP features Lee Morgan on trumpet and other talented musicians playing hard bop style jazz.
Recorded in February 15th 1964 in New York City, this 33 RPM record has a vinyl matrix number of BNLP 4169 (etched) and VAN GELDER (stamped) no ‘P’ and no ‘ear’.
The sleeve grading is very good (VG) with clear graphics on front, has open corner bumping with 1/2” split on bottom right, edge wear as around, has 4” seam split top open corner and 2” split top closed edge, back side is clean for its age with minor ring wear. Vinyl grading is near mint (NM or M-) and has EX sheen, Blue and white labels are EX and have no spindle marks. This original cover also comes with an original inner sleeve “27 Years Blue Note”in EX condition with minor corner fold.
The BLP 4169 catalog number is a 1966 repress with microgroove and VAN GELDER edition. This LP is a great addition to any vinyl record collection.
