Description

In this auction:

·       “LIVE YARDBIRDS FEATURING JIMMY PAGE” LP by The Yardbirds

·       This is Epic Records E 30615.

·       It is a STEREO PRESSING.

·       This LP was issued in 1971.

·       As you know, The Yardbirds were part of the “British Invasion” of bands that occurred in the mid-1960s. One of the most dynamic bands of that era, ex-band members went on to form Led Zeppelin, Renaissance and flourished in their own solo careers as well. (The Yardbirds were comprised of Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Keith Relf, Sonny Boy Williamson).

·       The cover of this LP resembles the cover of the Yardbirds’ double vinyl LP, “THE YARDBIRDS FEATURING PERFORMANCES BY JEFF BECK, ERIC CLAPTON & JIMMY PAGE” that was released in 1970. (Please check my other auctions and you will find that LP also listed!)

·       The LP in this auction focuses on Yardbirds’ tunes that featured Jimmy Page.

·       The COVER is in NICE VG+ CONDITION. It is still in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. (Only very light/slight wear on the bottom right corner at the opening and moderate wear on the top left corner at the top of the spine where the shrink wrap is worn through keep me from grading this cover Near Mint.)

·       The VINYL is in VG+ CONDITION. There are VERY LIGHT surface hairlines/scuffs (none are “feel-able”).

So don’t pass up bidding on this UNCOMMON YARDBIRDS LP!!

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (P for Poor, F for Fair, G for Good, G+ for Good Plus, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY GRADE this LP, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. And please check my other auctions for other LPs you may want to add to your collection.
