Description
The Lost Lennon Tapes Westwood One Radio-Only 75 LP Set
Please read the description thoroughly.
This set was purchased from the mastering engineer that mastered the vinyl for most of the records in this set, and contains a signed letter from him.
Included is the rare series introductory 5 record set.
With two exceptions, the records are all in plain white cardboard covers and vinyl/paper protective inner sleeves. There are no cue sheets.
Two of the covers have the Lennon artwork (noted below). These sets were added to the collection by me at a later date.
Each of the covers contains 2 LPs (one complete episode) with two exceptions which are incomplete with only one LP each (noted below).
Since this set was never sent to radio stations, the discs are in pristine condition, with the following exceptions:
Episode 5-30-88 is severly warped. I did not count it as part of the 75 discs. My Technics turntable was able to play it, but you should consider it unplayable. If you would like a recording of this episode, I can send it to you as part of the set.
Episode 2-29-88 Side 3 has a pressing bubble that causes 3 pops when played, but still tracks.
Episode 5-23-88 Side 4 has a small pressing dimple and a tear on the label 1/2" x 1/4"
The discs have been listened to and examined closely, these few defects are noted for full disclosure. I have only played the records twice, on high-quality equipment. I suspect that they were never played before I had them.
