ATTENTION!

Please carefully read our entire listing to answer any questions you may have, including shipping rates; then contact us directly with any other information you may need.

WITH MUCH APPRECIATION TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS:  If you have a question on orders received, please contact us.  We take Customer Service seriously, and we want you to be satisfied.   When leaving Feedback, please consider the following:  eBay's policy on the 5-star rating system is anything less than a 5  reduces our standing with eBay and ultimately can affect our selling abilities if we hit 4.6 across the board.  Ridiculous, but true.

Please help us strive for 5 stars through your feedback so we may continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music!  We have served thousands of satisfied customers  - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.

We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays.  Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday.   We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.  We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order.  Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERS:  We are happy to hold orders to save on shipping.  Please pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and, if you request, we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.

As always, thank you for your support!

1970 RARE Original ~ UNDERGROUND SF ROCK COLLECTIBLE!

                HAMMER

USA - San Franscico Sound Records

Original 1970 obscure Hardrock underground from Northern California, on the famously collected San Francisco label which was only around a couple years...Adventurous hardrock crew who opened for the big name groups at clubs around San Francisco including the Fillmore Auditorium ...

Based in San Francisco, Hammer was composed of singer John DeRoberts , drummer  John Guerin, keyboardist Norman Landsberg, bass player Richie McBride and guitarist Jack O'Brian. The band's lucky break came in 1969 when they attracted a mentor in the form of Bill Graham. Graham showcased the band with a number of opening act performances at the Fillmore East and West, quickly signing them to his "San Francisco" label.

The tracks have interesting varied styles, singer DeRoberts is a wailer, surrounded by a first rate band that churn out some first-rate performances. Among them, 'Hangover Horns' is a great rocker, the scat instrumental 'Tuane' is kind of cool and guitarist O'Brien and keyboardist Landsberg show off some nifty chops on the instrumental 'Death To a King'. Certainly an interesting addition in the legend of San Francisco-based groups.
