PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! BUMP is a fantastic prog / psychedelic monster LP, a mixture of dreamy organ psych with heavy fuzz bluster, very much like CA Quintet. Ghostly swirly organs, burning rough guitars, sound effects, fuzz / wahwah guitars, trippy lysergic vocals and great melodies. A "killer" album from start to end...
Germinated in the same fertile soil that brought us The Stooges, The MC5, The Rationals, and Mitch Ryder, "Bump" formed in Detroit, MI in 1969. A locally renowned live act, the group released only two singles and this, their sole long player, before disappearing into the ether. Though it was favorably reviewed in Billboard and other publications, this psychedelic rock classic suffered from limited promotion and distribution. Because of rarity combined with solid worthiness, for many years - as far back as 30+ years ago - original copies have attained up to and over $500 sums in collector circles - going up, and only getting harder to find by the day. Shredding guitar work is mixed with beautiful vocal harmonies and swirling keyboards to great effect on this album, a highlighted hidden psychedelic gem worthy of ANY important/valued music library.

We should point point out that reissues of this treasure were found to sound utterly lifeless in comparison to the original pressing.

CONDITION: The cover: rated: M- flat & square with 4 sharp corners. Still has a fresh appearance after 47 years. There are no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing. This 1970 first pressing has been professionally laminated (no seams are visual on front or back cover.) The lamination technique is nothing short of amazing. Overall the cover looks as nice as the photo here ...Obviously a VERY collection worthy artifact from the USA underground rock era...
The vinyl: Rated: M- beautiful smooth and clear, no marks, so play is top level or the same as when released in 1970 - been in careful hands.... both Pioneer labels are clean, free from marks, etc.
