MADDEN AND HARRIS – “FOOLS PARADISE”
…LP…(Jasmine, J.R.-4791/64)…original 1975 Aussie FIRST pressing…its reputation precedes it and you no doubt know of its magnificence, but this is indeed amaaaazing psychedelic folk - with some stunning electric guitar on the full, Side 2 long, title track…matte gatefold cover…
…cover has a tiny 'spot' stain near the spine…inside cover with its fantasy/’Lady Godiva’ art, is mint…
...vinyl has some light marks only and plays beautifully (with some light crackling)…has a mild rolling warp which does NOT affect play…it’s a wonderful listen…no original inserts, but I have included superb photo-copied reproductions (see pix - they look virtually identical to the originals)...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I use the following gradings (in descending order, from pristine down):
MINT, M-, EX (EX = most people's NM), EX-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G+, G
CONDITION:
COVER: ( EX- ) ......
VINYL: ( VG+[+] ) ...
LABEL CONDITION: labels have wispy, spider-y spindle marks, but are otherwise, mint.
If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
