MADONNA Erotica (Fabulous 1992 UK 12" picture disc, WITHDRAWN due to the controversy surrounding the great picture of Maddy giving a toe-job. This 100% genuine collectable has a black rim and comes complete with the original insert. Considered as the number one rarity by most Madonna collectors I am pleased to offer this truly rare genuine item, W0138TP).

This is the ultimate auction for all serious Madonna collectors!  Up for sale today is the authentic and incredibly rare withdrawn EROTICA 12" PICTURE DISC.  Made in the U.K. circa 1992, this is considered to be one of the rarest and most sought after Madonna collectibles in the world.  The story goes that Warner Bros. produced about 50,000 of these to promote her album Erotica, but then ordered all of them to be destroyed due to a scandal that had developed at the time involving tabloid photographs of Fergie sucking on someone's big toe. Warner Bros. didn't want to be seen as cashing in on a scandal involving royalty.  After the disc was withdrawn, there was a reported 138 unaccounted for - This is one of them.

The record itself has the black rim around the edge.  Near the centre of the disc in the run out groove/dead wax..Side A has the inscription "W0138 TP A1 ORLAKE" and Side B has the inscription "W0138 TP B1 ORLAKE" 

The record and the insert have both have the Maverick, Sire, and Warner Bros. logos.  The real "Erotica" picture disc carries a gold backing card, with the official "Madonna/Erotica" logo in the top-left corner. The bootleg disc is missing this backing card.

The insert also has the manufacturer's original barcode and catalogue number "W0138TP 9362-40662-0" . The real "Erotica" picture disc has a white rectangular box containing its catalogue number directly below the Maverick logo on the vinyl itself. The bootleg disc is missing this box.

I have tried to show all these distinguishing aspects of this ORIGINAL EROTICA PICTURE DISC in the photos.
