This is the ultimate auction for all serious Madonna collectors!  Up for sale today is the authentic and incredibly rare withdrawn EROTICA 12" PICTURE DISC.  Made in the U.K. circa 1992, this is considered to be one of the rarest and most sought after Madonna collectibles in the world.  The story goes that Warner Bros. produced about 50,000 of these to promote her album Erotica, but then ordered all of them to be destroyed due to a scandal that had developed at the time involving tabloid photographs of Fergie sucking on someone's toe. Warner Bros. didn't want to be seen as cashing in on a scandal involving royalty.  After the disc was withdrawn, it is rumored that between 100 and 400 were unaccounted for.  This is one of them.

Nearly 15 years old, the beauty of this picture disc is stunning.  The record and the double sided insert have been kept stored together away from sunlight in a smoke-free and temperature controlled environment.  The disc and insert have been kept in the original plastic sleeve and are in MINT condition.  They have never been on display. 

 The record itself has the black rim around the edge.  Near the center of the disc Side A has the inscription "W0138 TP A1 ORLAKE" and Side B has the inscrition "W0138 TP B1 ORLAKE"  The record and the insert have both have the Maverick, Sire, and Warner Bros. logos.  The insert also has the manufacturer's original barcode and catalog number "W0138TP 9362-40662-0"

The pictures I have included in this auction are of the actual record and insert.  The "xfile101342" marking does not appear on the actual items.   

As a ***BONUS***, the winner of this auction will also receive a very rare Promo Only 2X 12” set of Erotica containing 11 tracks and exclusive remixes of the song!  Catalog Number PRO-A-5860.  This 100% official double LP set was given to DJs to promote the single back in 1992.  The vinyl is in MINT condition, the records have never been played.  The records come in a plain black sleeve with a custom sticker detailing the track listing.  See photo below.
