Description
Mahler- Symphonie No. 2- Leonard Bernstein, original 1988 German DG Digital/audiophile first pressing. Cat# 423 395. Matrix stamped "423 396-1 S1", "3 20" and "I" stamped elsewhere as well.
Highly sought after and rare audiophile edition in amazing condition!
Vinyl is MINT- all 4 sides. Clean, glossy and bright without a single mark or scratch, the only play indication is a light spindle-mark on side 3 labels. Amazingly pristine.
Cover is NM, the box is sturdy, fully intact and un-creased with just a very small touch of corner-wear on lower left. There are 5 or 6 light surface indentations (one longer one, approx 4 inches on upper right is a bit more noticeable) and a handful of tiny match-head sized surface "dings"/dents on the front cover are visible in the gloss by tilting the set in direct light, nothing I'd even call a "scratch". The cover still creaks a bit when opened! The set is beautiful and very well preserved.
CD sized insert/booklet is MINT-, just one tiny and faint mark on the front, hardly worth mentioning. No thumb marks or creases, nice.
Plastic inner tray is clean and free of any wear or cracks.
Includes both numbered, poly-lined inner sleeves.
