This is the rare UK 1st press of Marshall Hooks & Co. This is a complete UK 1st Press on the Blue Horizon label, it has the earliest A1//B1 matrix and the earliest matt EJ Day sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational high gloss, there are no signs of heavy play at all. There are just a couple of very slight marks on both sides. The Blue Horizon label is bold and bright with sharp text and it is exceptionally clean. There is no spindle wear at all. The record is complete with the original inner sleeve.
On playing the sound is rich and vibrant. There is a little background hiss in places but the sound is extremely clear with superb separation throughout. There is no noise that spoils the enjoyment of this LP at any point, it still sounds superb.
The 1st press EJ day sleeve is in Very Good condition. The image is still very sharp and the colours are bold and unworn. There is just a little edge and corner wear. The back of the sleeve has sharp photos and the text is clear. There is a little light handling wear but this sleeve is still solid.
