Description

Original 1969 U.S. stereo press on white Limelight label
Mecki Mark Men titled " Running in the Summer Night"
CONDITION:
unipak gatefold cover: VG to VG+
some ring wear & edge/corner wear( mostly along left spine)
vinyl: VG++ to Excellent
clean & glossy ~ just a couple of small minor surface marks
plays excellent with the odd lite click &
a touch of lite surface crackle in 2 or 3 spots
here’s an excerpt from Vernon Joynson’s psych reference "Fuzz Acid & Flowers"
Originally from Sweden, these guys relocated to the USA and were pretty high
on psychedelics when they recorded these two LPs. Leader Mecki Bodemark
was a former art student, who had also worked with several pop groups and as a studio musician.
The other musicians on the first album had their musical roots in jazz and this was reflected
in the music which was mostly rather avant-garde, jazzy and with lots of experimental keyboards
second effort was a slight improvement with the title cut undoubtedly its finest moment. Other tracks of some note were The Life Cycle and Help Me Somebody
