Description
The Supremes (with Diana Ross) 12inch LP "Meet the Supremes"; Original 1962 USA, MOTOWN, Nr. MT-606
ULTRA RARE 1st issue with unique different cover ("Bar stool cover" version)
Original 1962 USA pressing, NO Reissue or Boot versions from later years!! Legendary Debut album by the Supremes on Motown label! This very first issue featured different songs than later issue and a completely different front cover with all ladies sitting on a barstool! This cover was replaced soon in 1963, there were later 70s/80s reissues and some, but this is the absolutely first edition, puplished only in the United States!! Highly sought after by collectors with prices well over 500 dollars for Near MINT copies!! This Original offered is in very nice estate, overall in solid VG/VG+ condition! Complete set with the Original Motown innersleeve! Great chance for every record collector or fan of early 1960s soul music!
