Description

You are bidding for a MEGA rare white label test pressing copy of Animal Farm by THE KINKS, written by Ray Davis "Animal Farm" was first released on 'The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society' as the eighth track on the album. Never released as a single. However, the track was eventually used as the B-side on the Japanese single, "Village Green". This rare recording has been play tested on my BANG & OLUFSEN Beogram 5000 all the way through at normal weight with no problems. In 1966 Freddy Bienstock acquired Belinda Music Publishing, which he renamed Carlin Music Corporation after his daughter, Caroline. He soon expanded the Carlin Music catalogue by associations with such hit makers as Leiber & Stoller in addition to representing Atlantic Records and Motown Records. Carlin was then named Publisher of the Year by music week for ten consecutive years. This is one for the serious record collector. Please note this is a one sided test recording in a white record sleeve, see photo's.  Sent 1st class signed for in a record mailer with cardboard stiffeners. Thanks for looking.
