Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.

2 1/2" shrink tear spine with attending discoloration consistent with age. 2 1/2" shrink tear upper left seam also with some discoloration (see photo). Light shelf wear. **Please note** - Although the selection number on the jacket is the same number for the original 1958 mono release, being sealed there is no way of knowing whether, in fact, a later pressing of the LP was inserted into the original jacket. Meaning, the original LP from 58' was to have had 'Verve' printed on the lower LP label whereas the later pressing from 61' was to have 'MGM' printed on the bottom. The purchaser of this item will be the one who knows for certain! Either way, it is rare to find an unopened copy of this early Torme / Paich LP!
