MELLOW CANDLE Dan the Wing/Silversong 7"single on DECCA DERAM DM357 from 1972  in mega rare Pic Sleeve UK pressing  comes with postcard signed by Clodagh Simonds vocalist and songwriter of both Dan the Wing and Silversong 
This is a bit special - A stock copy of MELLOW CANDLE'S second single - perhaps the first to be offered on  E bay - Previously only DEMOS and PROMO copies have appeared . And in attractive Pic sleeve !
Sleeve is EXCELLENT with just a few creases at the corners -  One larger crease on rear sleeve towards bottom left corner -  VINYL is lower end of VERY GOOD Condition with a few noticable surface marks on both sides more so on the A side which also has a largish "A" in felt tip on the label.  Otherwise labels are clean and in Excellent condition
Audibly Dan the Wing plays through without skipping but does have a persistent click throughout the track caused by a traverse scuff mark there are also quite a few pops and crackles.
Silversong is one of my favourite tracks ever   (which is why I went to ludicrous lengths to find this many years ago)  Again This plays through with a few crackles and pops more so for the first 20 seconds or so
So while this is a pretty exciting item - The condition of the vinyl does let it down   but if you are a MELLOW CANDLE enthusiast this would make a splendid Xmas Present !
