Mellow Candle Dan The Wing 7" Deram promo only PS ..
Well here is what is probably the rarest mellow candle item..A uk press DM 357 1972 "Dan the Wing/Silversong" housed in promo only sleeve the story goes these were probably made by the bands manager Ted Carroll these were then sent out with stock singles to radio stations this is where this copy came from an old hospital radio, i have had more copies of the UK LP on Deram
I have spoke to eamonn at Irish rock discography and this is only the fourth copy known to exist the other three are with band member and in private collections and this is the first copy to be offered for sale there has been a somewhat dubious copy on ebay back in 2010 http://www.popsike.com/php/detaildatar.php?itemnr=300501283089 see link but its authenticity is very suspicious.
the sleeve has a unique group photo black and white same both sides the sleeve is made from textured thick paper with 5 inch thumb cut to rear of sleeve this is in amazing condition the vinyl again is in superb condition 1st press release with ZDR 50733-TI-IK matrix numbers.
Graded sleeve Near mint and vinyl Mint plays perfectly.
