Description
This is a Melvin's picture disc record. It has never been played and I don't know much about it. 20 years ago I worked in a record store (see, back in the 90s, people used to go to a thing called the "mall" and they had to physically buy their music) and a label rep gave me this. I took it because I thought it looked cool. I don't know anymore about it other than that. But I did see where someone else was selling one and they seemed to know a lot more about it than I do, here are some of the facts they said about it:
"This is a copy of the FRANK KOZIK-illustrated vinyl picture disc "ORBIS CANTUS CRESCERE" from The MELVINS. 7" features 2 tracks: Side A: "hooch" Side B: "sky pup" This was released by RISE RECORDS in 1993. This record is BRAND NEW & UNPLAYED. 7" picture disc is in MINT CONDITION, and cardboard sleeve is in NEAR MINT to MINT- CONDITION with just a hint of very light shelfwear/rubbing to the covers."
So, what they said. All I know is when it was given to me, I was able to open the package without ripping anything. I have shown it to a few people, but it has never been played.
