AUDIOPHILE CLOSET CLEANING SALE. I WILL BE CLEANING OUT MANY ITEMS THAT HAVEN'T SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY FOR YEARS. This is the Mobile Fidelity pressing of the classic self titled album by Blood, Sweat & Tears (MFSL 1-251). This album is officially unreleased. The story goes like this... MoFi was so anxious to put this title out that they pressed the records, and had the jackets printed before they signed the contract with CBS to get the rights to the title. By mistake; a small batch of these were sent out to a handful of dealers. When CBS got wind of this they pulled the rights to the title, and made them stop any shipments. It is exactly what happened with the famous Journey "Escape" album that doesn't exist (but does). How many of those have you seen? It is pressed on 200 gram vinyl, almost the same weight as the UHQR series. This one has a serial number of 0136. There is a fine half inch scratch on one side,otherwise the vinyl is great. There are no splits or tears in the gatefold jacket. All corners are nice and sharp.
