Discs 1 & 2: One approximately 30 Minute Radio Program and approximately 15 Minutes of V-Disc recordings on these two 16 inch, black lacquer acetate, 33 1/3 rpm discs

Two sides of these discs feature "The Mildred Bailey Show" radio program from July 26, 1944 starring Mildred Bailey with special guests Tony Pastor & Ward Silloway.  Music is by Paul Baron & His Orchestra featuring Teddy Wilson, Roy Eldridge, Specs Powell, Al Hall, Remo Palmieri.  Songs include "Honeysuckle Rose" vocal Mildred Bailey, "Hep Hollow Blues"? Ward Silloway on trombone, "I'll Be Around" vocal Mildred Bailey, "After You've Gone", "Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child" vocal Mildred Bailey, "Sweet Lorraine", "Straighten Up And Fly Right" vocal Tony Pastor, "Long About Midnight" vocal Mildred Bailey.  There is a short dropout during the opening announcement, no music is lost.  There is no closing on the program however the last musical number is complete & there is applause after the last song.   Approximately 30 minutes

The other two sides of these discs feature approximately 15 minutes of V-Disc recording sessions by HOAGY CARMICHAEL.  All songs are vocal & piano by Hoagy Carmichael.  Songs include "Ginger & Spice" vocal Hoagy Carmichael, "Am I Blue / How Little We Know / Hong Kong Blues" vocal Hoagy Carmichael, "Stardust" (instrumental), "Sleepy Time Gal" vocal Hoagy Carmichael, "Eager Beaver" vocal Hoagy Carmichael, "Eager Beaver" vocal Hoagy Carmichael

Discs are in Excellent or better Condition.   The sound on the Mildred Bailey Show is excellent.  The sound on the Hoagy Carmichael V-Disc sessions is Excellent+ to Near Mint-!

Disc 3: BENNY GOODMAN & HIS ORCHESTRA 16" TRANSCRIPTION DISC.  TWO SONGS ON THIS 16 INCH, BLACK LACQUER ACETATE, ONE SIDED, 33 1/3 RPM DISC.  THIS DISC WAS RECORDED FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.  VERY RARE!   

This beautiful disc contains two takes of the song "Talk Of The Town" by Benny Goodman & His Orchestra for V-Disc.  Both include male vocal

The only identification is written on the disc "V-Disc Goodman Jan 23 T-12603

Disc is in Excellent or better Condition with Excellent+ to Near Mint- sound, Beautiful Disc!  There is a large tear on the sleeve
