Description
The historic deep groove label w/ the W 50th St address around the outer edge--kind of a hard one to evaluate comprehensively, but will do my best--labels are clean and bright--vinyl both sides less than bright, but doesn't seem to be due to wear--every once in awhile I've run across a record that looks like this one, as if a "light film of something" is on the vinyl, but the good news is that it seems to have no affect on the sound--I did play most of it. If I were to ignore the film and some lightly feelable marks, I would be calling it just a touch off NMint one side, VG++ the other. The marks consist of a straight line perpendicular to the grooves of just over a half inch and then the squiggles seen in the photo which measure (again perpendicular to the grooves) about 3/8" (but surprisingly even these create only minor audio distraction). The jacket is tight showing moderate shelf wear soiling/mostly noticeable backside where there's also a stamped name of a former owner. Don't miss out on your chance for a classic! Priced Right.
