Super rare 10" LP of Hard Bop Jazz by MILES DAVIS. Blue Period (Prestige PRLP 140) 1st press Blue label with Silver Lettering, 446 West 50th St NYC address, Deep Groove, "Ear" in the dead wax. FLAT Lip Edge. The "A" side vinyl is in VG++ condition (just a few light sleeve scuffs and some tiny hairlines. "B" side is in M- condition, just a stray hairline here and there. This is a quiet record and thus has a bit of inherent background hiss. They all have this. Cover is in M- condition. With clean edges, corners and seems, no splits or stains. Virtually zero wear to the cover. Just the beginning of a super light dirt ring in a few spots (super super minor) virtually no yellowing (front or back) Comes with the original plastic inner sleeve which is perfect. I will send the sleeve but I've put in a much nicer brand new 10" heavy paper sleeve. Which is no longer housed inside the original cover to protect the sleeve from any damage. As nice or a bit better than the one that sold on Ebay for $407 last year. (see popsike.com) In the next few weeks look for lots of nice clean, like new 50's, 60's Jazz LP's including original Blue Notes, Prestige, Riverside, Contemporary label releases.
No media mail on this one. Any record that sells for over $100 must be shipped by Priority mail which is $11.00 which will also have signature confirmation. It's the only shipping method that Paypal/Ebay will protect the seller. For overseas buyers: Due to it's rarity, this rare 10" will have extra padding and must ship by International Global Express mail which includes signature confirmation which paypal/ebay can track on-line and they can actually see who signs for it. This is the only method of shipping that they offer seller protection for. It's quite expensive at $46 but I will pay for half so your share is $23. Buy more and save on shipping. I except Paypal.
