Description
Original three sessions were recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in 1952, 1953 and 1954. The three sessions were released on two Blue Note LPs, “Miles Davis Vol-1 and Miles Davis Vol-2. These albums are the 1975 Blue Note/United Artists, Vol-1 BST 81501 and Vol-2 BST 81502 stereo reissues. Great opportunity to get both albums for one bid price. Photos show the condition and details of the actual items.
Album Description
· VINYL- VG++: The two albums have been played several times. A playtest revealed accurate sound, no distortion or tracking error. There is a barely visible hairline mark on Vol 2-Side 1, Tracks 1 and 2, but no audible ticks or misplay were heard during the playtesting. Vinyl was cleaned using a VPI record cleaning machine before shipping. Any spindle wear occurred during the cleaning process.
· RECORD LABELS: Dark blue labels with white stylized “b”.
· COVER- VG++: Front and back surfaces and edges are very clean. There is no writing, marks, edge tears, corner cuts or seam splits.
· SLEEVE: Original paper sleeves.
