Hello, I recently found a nice collection of jazz Lp's, about 100 with about 10 deep grooves - so check back as I keep listing! Here's a nice copy of Miles Davis' 1958 Lp, "Miles Davis Vol. 1" on Blue Note (1501)
Vinyl is in good shape with some minor scuffing. I play tested side one - during Enigma and How Deep Is the Ocean surface noise is apparant as these are very quiet numbers, during the other tracks on side one, I could not hear the noise. Minimum of pops (maybe 3 on Side One) Side two visually appears to be in the same condition. Labels on both side are clean with some spindle wear. Since I have not yet cleaned the record on my VPI, I think that VG+ is a safe grade. I have a 100% satisfaction rating right now, but for every nine compliments I get for undergrading, I do get one complaint for over grading (most people never e-mail anything, they just leave the positive feedback). I think this record should get a nice price, so I want to be accurate!
Jacket is in good shape. Intact seam and spine, corner wear, bottom edge wear, ring wear evident in photo. Looks worn, but completely intact: VG

The title track is one of the great pieces of '50s R&B/rock and roll and was Freeman's moment of glory. The rest of the album is decent, occasionally above-average pop and light R&B, sung in an energetic fashion but not exactly spectacular stuff. It is fun, however, and if you can find the album, it's well worth getting.
