MILES DAVIS/GIL EVANS' "The Complete Columbia Recordings" released by MOSAIC RECORDS (MQ11-1164) in 1996 comes in a Heavy-Duty Box with a Full-Size Booklet. This 11 LPs are quality thick pressings and with remastering that Mosaic is famous for. The 36-page Booklet gives a complete discography of the sessons, as well as Songtitles, and essays and original liner notes and other comments. Among the Chronological tracks are a number of Alternates and unreleased. As with all Mosaic releases, this is a LIMITED EDITION and is Out-Of-Print, as most of their previous releases are. This set covers the recordings that can be found on the released albums, MILES AHEAD, PORGY AND BESS, SKETCHES OF SPAIN, DIRECTIONS, QUIET NIGHTS, JINGLE BELL JAZZ, SORCERER, THE GIANTS OF JAZZ and MILES AHEAD.

The 11 LP Box Set is NEAR MINT PLUS condition with the records played rarely if ever with no visible spindle marks on the labels, and not a mark or scratch on the 22 sides of Glossy vinyl. There are no defects to the packaging, with corners and everything sharp on the box, as well as the booklet. It's tight!
