Description

Superb 1956 session - With Ruby Braff on trumpet - Dave McKenna piano - Wyatt Reuther bass - Jimmy Raney guitar and Jo Jones on drums - on George Wien's collectible Storyville label. The vinyl visually grades VG+ with just a few minor scuffs and hairlines - no feelable scratches - plays with some light to moderate surface noise on the quieter tracks and  a few pops and clicks throughout -  The cover ( a strong VG ) still looks very good with no handwriting stickers or tape and could be restored quite nicely  - top seam is totally split - there is a 5 inch split on the binder and a 7 inch split on the bottom cover and a minor crease upper right hand corner. Extremely hard to find in any condition this is a very nice copy of a true jazz rarity!
