Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. 1. In 1970, the original 12-track version was rather quickly revised to include the hit single "Oh Well" (parts 1 and 2 together), which replaced "When You Say" and "My Dream," reducing the overall track count to 11, and re-sequencing the album to even a more intense rocker delivery, as featured within this listing

   This is one of the BEST CONDITION covers you'll ever hope to find... notoriously wear prone, about ALL surviving copies have wear, here is an exception, especially no WEAR which may be the most wear-prone of ALL covers (?!?)
   

   Originally "OH WELL" was not available on this album, when the song became Fleetwood Mac's most popular, Reprise re-did the track listings in 1970, right after initial release to include OH WELL. This is the stronger LP version with different tracks not released on the '69 "two-tone" pressing

Hard to find this MINT-clean vintage collectible, released in 1970 on the tan Reprise label in gatefold cover...really even hard to get this old pressing in such MINT-clean shape, almost always the gatefold cover is found with wear, this one provides a very nice addition to one's special collection!
   
   "OH WELL" was Fleetwood Mac's most popular, pre "hits group" HARD-ROCK song appearing on underground radio. "Oh Well" and different tracks appear on this pressing from initial re-adjusted release.
   
   Legendary and classic 1969 hard blues classic featuring the expressive and dynamic guitar theatrics of Peter Green, in his last performance before he flipped-out and quit the band and music business for many years...
   
   "Then Play On" album is a joyful experience. The amazing guitar, vocals of Peter Green , the steady rhythm section of Mick Fleetwood (drums) and John McVie (bass), all fresh from some serious schooling in the ranks of the legendary John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, formed Fleetwood Mac in 1967, joined by guitarist Jeremy Spencer, and, just before this set was recorded, guitarist Danny Kirwin. 
4. Their first couple of albums [FLEETWOOD MAC (1967) and MR.WONDERFUL (1968)] were well-received by critics and fans alike in their native UK. With "THEN PLAY ON", the band began to expand their songwriting horizons, while remaining true to their blues roots.
   
   The guitar work from the triumvirate of Green/Spencer/Kirwan is stunning, as are their vocals, each infusing their own compositions with a unique personality, fitting into the overall sound of the band at the same time. There are some memorable unbeat, rockin' tunes here -- but what stands out after all of these years are the drifting, moodier gems.
   
   Green's 'Closing my eyes', the second track on the album, and one of the most heartfelt expressions of loneliness and despair heard -- but it's not over-rought. Peter can sing '...one day I'll die -- maybe then I'll be with you' and it doesn't come across as trite for even a second. Danny Kirwan contributes three tunes in a laid-back but strongly emotional vein as well: 'Although the sun is shining' has an achingly beautiful, unusual chord progression -- 'When you say' and 'Like Crying' are 'gold' as well. The segments on Kirwan's 'My dream', Green's 'Underway', are things of beauty, and the two jams 'Searching for Madge' and 'Fighting for Madge' allow the band members to stretch out a bit in a more upbeat vein.
   
   This is a truly classic recording -- from the band's finest hour. It's no RUMOURS -- and that's a good thing!.
