Description
Like all my singles (and most albums) this 45 was stored away back in the day, and never played. I was music director at a radio station and took home extra copies of the songs we played on the air--but not to play them at home, just to collect them. Radio stations played actual records back then, and we wore them out, so part of my job was ordering new copies from the record companies. This copy from Columbia came as a promo during a time when they would drill a hole in the vinyl to indicate "for promotional use," instead of stamping a message on them. Sometimes they would do both, messing up the label. However, if you want an actual mint copy of this (now controversial) tune, here you go. The vinyl is perfect. The sleeve is in rather remarkable condition too, considering how long it's been in storage, so if you’re missing this tune in your collection or want to upgrade the one you have, you won’t find a better copy.
