MITCHELL TOROK 1954 GOLD LONDON CARIBBEAN EX/EX+ rare early 45
On offer is the MITCHELL TOROK 45 rpm entitled CARIBBEAN c/w WEEP AWAY released in 1954 on the GOLD LONDON label LONDON HL 8004. This 45 was amongst the first LONDON label records to be issued on 45rpm in October 1954: indeed it was the first of the HL 8000 series to be issued on 45rpm.
The gold labels are very clear and clean and free of writing / marks. The disc does not have a centre: it would have had a centre but this was removed (presumably at the time by its first owner): I owned this from the early 1960’s onwards. The vinyl is in LOVELY [and delightful] EX to EX+ condition with a shiny gloss. It sounds very nice (EX) on my BOSE hi-fi. . The disc is housed in its original LONDON 45 sleeve which is in VG+ condition
