Description
MITCHELL TOROK
"CARIBBEAN"
TRANSCRIPTION DISC
WLBR Radio Station... Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Sept. 9, 1953 (date written on label)
Mitchell Torok (born October 28, 1929) is an American country music singer, songwriter and guitarist, best known for his 1953 hit, "Caribbean".
This transcription disc was found together with a transcription disc by "Slim Bryant and His Wildcats". Slim Bryant was from Pennsylvania and his disc is also from the same radio station WLBR (Lebanon, Pennsylvania). Although Mitchell Torok was from Texas, I am sure that the two worked together or near each other in the creation of these transcription discs. I will be offering the 2nd transcription disc by Slim Bryant and His Wildcats in another listing in the very near future!
78rpm / 12-inch
VG+ condition! some light scratches & scuffs. still looks great!!
