Description



Excellent, guaranteed original, 1966 two-sided Garage Rock ACETATE 45 by THE GENTLEMEN entitled "It's A Crying Shame"/"You Can't Be True" on Boyd Recording Service Records (no #). Fantastic RAW DEMO VERSION of the Monster Texas classic comped on "Pebbles" and other places. Folks, this comes right out of the drummer's closet - it doesn't come any better than this! Screaming Raw Rock & Roll at it's best - BEFORE it was tamed down and released on Vandan Records. There were only 5 copies of the acetates cut in 1966. This was the band roadies copy - he wrote his name on both sides. In 2009 the first copy surfaced and was immediately snatched up for $5600! Condition = solid VG+ (very light paper scuffs - plays through fine though!, LISTEN TO AN ACTUAL SOUND CLIP OF BOTH SIDES!). Winning bidder to add $2.50 postage in the USA.
