MOONDOG - "SNAKETIME SERIES" HIS INCREDIBLY RARE 1ST LP, PRIVATLY PRESSED AND SOLD ON THE STREETS OF NEW YORK IN THE EARLY 50'S, RECENTLY REISSUED, BUT THIS IS THE ORIGINAL WITH A GROOVED LABEL AND VERY HEAVY VINYL, ONLY TURNED UP 3 OR 4 TIMES BEFORE AND IN WORSE CONDITION THAN THIS ONE, UNDEFINABLE MUSIC, ELEMENTS OF JAZZ FOLK / BLUES, SOME FEMALE VOCALS FROM HIS WIFE, EVEN THINGS THAT COULD BE CLASSIFIED AS PSYCHEDELIA BEFORE IT EXISTED, A STRANGE AND BEAUTIFUL ALBUM. THE COVER IS LOVELY WITH NO SPLIT SEAMS, VERY LITTLE RUBBING TO THE DESIGN AND NICE CLEAN REAR A TOP GRADE EX, THE VINYL HAS A FEW LIGHT HAIRLINES AND HAS A BIT OF LIGHT CRACKLE FROM THE RUSTIC PRESSING AS MUCH AS ANY MARKS, DEFINITLY NO JUMPS OR STICKS OF COURSE. POSSIBLY THE BEST COPY TO HAVE COME UP FOR SALE AND A VERY IMPORTANT ALBUM, MATRIX NUMBER MOON 1 !)

PLAY GRADING
Most albums are cleaned on a professional VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine to remove any debris hidden in the grooves (This is done purely by suction and not with any “surface treatments”). Then they are play graded on a Michel Gyrodeck with top quality Ortofon Moving coil cartridge.
All items are fully guaranteed to your satisfaction.
 
PACKAGING
When posted the records are removed from the covers and placed in a PVC outer protective sleeve to stop sleeve splits in the post. We use brand new top quality mailers, either the Envelope style with super thick stiffeners to stop any sleeve bends in transit, or the “cruciform” style that wrap around the LP. We do sometimes recycle packaging (old hippies you see) but only where they are of good enough quality to meet our own exacting standards.
 
  
POSTAGE RATES
Within the UK postage rates for 1 LP is £3.50  (then £1.50 thereafter) inclusive of packaging and Recorded delivery, which covers you for insurance up to £25.
PLEASE NOTE ! International insurence will be included in your ebay invoice for any items over £25 . Proof of postage is got for all items posted.
Outside the UK rates are as follows
EUROPE £4.50 first LP then £2.50 thereafter
USA / CANADA £6.50 first LP then £3.50 thereafter
JAPAN / KOREA / AUSTRALIA £8.50 first LP then £4.50 thereafter
