WOW, WHAT A FIND !!! This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK WITHDRAWN TEST PRESSING ONLY - INDIE POP ALBUM single by MORRISSEY / THE SMITHS from 1990, ORIGINAL UK TEST PRESSING PROMO ONLY PRESSING IN NEAR MINT CONDITION !!!
This is an UNDOCUMENTED / WITHDRAWN - TEST PRESSING for MORRISSEY’s album “BONA DRAG” from 1990. As you can see from the ORIGINAL WHITE SLEEVE, it has REJECTED TEST PRESSING written on ir, it also has the release date (slightly faded) stamped in the left hand corner as 6 AUG 1990 and PM CLP3788 AB-1 written. It has the EARLIEST - UNDOCUMENTED MATRIC numbers stamped in the vinyl, I assume the MIX of the album was wrong and MORRISSEY was not happy with it, hence these first pressing plates were rejected and replaced !!! The MATRIC NUMBERS ARE: SIDE 1: CLP 3788 A-1-1- and D (9 o’clock position) all MACHINE STAMPED and AESTHETICS VERSUS ATHLETICS (etched). SIDE 2: CLP 3788 B-1-1- and D (9 o’clock position) ALL MACHINE STAMPED !!!
ALL THE RECORDS I AM SELLING CAME FROM A RETIRED RECORD INDUSTRY PERSON !!!
The ALBUM came out on HIS MASTER’S VOICE RECORDS catalogue number CLP 3788.
The condition of the vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition (LOOKS UNPLAYED, light paper scuffs only !!! ) + ORIGINAL HAND WRITTEN WHITE SLEEVE in EX/EX+ condition !!!
