Background -
If only we had started collecting the Mosaic Jazz Record titles when they first started issuing them! There is no doubt that Mosaic Records have been issuing some of the most important jazz recordings ever committed to vinyl record and/or CD. Many of the Mosaic sets have reached "mythical" status and are highly prized by jazz fans, audiophiles and music collectors alike. Indeed, their sets are first rate in terms of production quality, performances chosen, libretto information and even sound! All the Mosaic sets are limited edition and numbered and when they sell out, the company does not reissue them again!
With this eBay listing we are offering the following extremely rare and long out of print 6-LP Boxed Set:
The Complete Edmond Hall / James P. Johnson / Sidney De Paris / Vic Dickenson Blue Note Sessions
This 6-LP boxed set has been out of print for a long time. This listing offers you the opportunity to find out for yourself why so many collectors prize these sets so highly - this may be your only chance to get a NEAR MINT copy of a superb rarity!

CONDITION Details:
This is a very early title issued by Mosaic, and, one of the hardest LP sets to find!
The BOX and LIBRETTO are in Near Mint minus condition - the set is in great condition with just some light shelf wear apparent. No splitting and no discoloration.
The LPs are in Near Mint minus condition! The vinyl is blemish free with just some slight spider marks (caused by sliding the LPs in and out of their inner sleeves - these types of marks are usually not audible, depending on the sensitivity of your gear. A better set would be difficult to acquire. A true collectors grade copy!! - nicest we have ever had!
A Short Note About LP GRADING -
- Mint = Only used for sealed items.
- Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
- Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
- Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
- Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.
The LPs are audiophile quality pressings (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
Do not let this rarity slip by!
