Description

Available here is a 12" vinyl LP by Mount Eerie - No Flashlight: Songs of the Fulfilled Night. A US white vinyl pressing (which came without a CD, unlike some subsequent versions), it was issued in the US in 2005 by P. W. Elverum & Sun Ltd. with the catalogue number ELV 005. Comes with a fold-out sleeve, possibly making it the world’s largest record cover - effectively a 3.5' x 5' double-sided poster with drawing, lyrics, colour pictures and liner notes.

Identifiers - The record bears the requisite 1st pressing marks as per the Discogs website -
Matrix / Runout - Side A - Etched - ELV-005-A 12952.1 (2) - Stamped - GOLDEN
Matrix / Runout - Side B - Etched - ELV-005-B 12952.2 (2) - Stamped - GOLDEN

Vinyl Condition - Excellent - The record is very bright and clean and there are no obvious marks or scratches. However, there are minor traces of black vinyl residue from the pressing process. Having listened all the way through I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking although one or two light clicks may be heard. Background crackle/noise is almost non-existent and very low level if heard.

Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good - Original fold-out cover with a couple of small splits along the crease lines. Additional plain white die cut inner sleeve and outer plastic sleeve for additional protection.

Something of a collectible rarity in this form, the track listing is …

Songs Of The Pregnant Night

A4 - In The Bat's Mouth
A5 - No Inside, No Out

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.

I will accept returns on any item which is not as described and refund all costs upon safe receipt.

See "Me" for further general despatch information.
