Description
A superb 1958 first pressing of the classic blues album The Best of Muddy Waters on Chess Records.
The very clean cover is in Near Mint- to EX++ condition, with two creases to the front cover slick, and a bit of toning to the back cover's right edge. The thick Black Label disc grades Near Mint, and shows no sign of having been played, with no spindle marks on the labels, and just a hint of the typical Chess pressing marks on Side 1.
An extraordinarily copy of an essential blues album.
We grade all records visually, cover first, then disc; using the abbreviations M / NM / EX / VG with + and -. We try to describe everything as accurately as possible, and spot check any vinyl flaw that looks like it might make a sound. We regularly receive praise for our grading, but as all grading is subjective, we are happy to give a full refund for anything you aren't happy with no questions asked.
