Description

This listing is for a rare copy of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 in G performed by George Szell and The Cleveland Orchestra, with Judith Raskin (soprano). The catalogue number is, SAX 5283.

Both the record and jacket are in N/M condition. The original inner sleeve is also included here. My grading is based on the discog's grading system: https://support.discogs.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001566193-How-To-Grade-Items

Record condition - N/M

The record plays with almost no surface noise, other than the very occasional lightest of ticks. I have inspected the record under a bright light source and there are NO major visible surface marks (i.e. deep marks that affect playback). There are some very light hairline marks that do not affect playback and are only visible under a bright light. There are a couple of spindle marks on the label.

Jacket condition - N/M

The jacket is almost flawless, other than some slight damage to the bottom flip-back panel *please see photo no. 9. The bottom left corner of the jacket's front cover is slightly impacted *please see photo no. 8.

The laminate is in remarkable condition, with just a couple of light creases that are noticeable on the flip-backs.

Outer protective sleeve and rice paper inner sleeve

In the last two images of this listing, you can see that the record, jacket and original inner are housed in a protective outer sleeve. The record itself is in a rice paper inner sleeve, separate from the original inner.

Overall

This is a near flawless copy of this rare Columbia EMI title. If you have any questions regarding this listing, please feel free to contact me.
