New in original shrink wrap. The fascinating history of the Maxwell Field Annual Glenn Miller Christmas Concert is on the back cover of this album. Of course, it started in 1942 when young Air Force Captain Glenn Miller played and led a half hour Christmas Eve radio broadcast from Maxwell Field in Montgomery Alabama which was heard throughout Alabama and neighboring states. This is a live recording, made on 18 December 1984, by the group Air University Band, called the MAXWELLAIRES.
This album was made produced by the Band and approved for use by the Department of Defense in radio and television public service broadcasting, recruiting, educational activities, troop morale and recruiting.
Of course, It is sealed and I have not heard it, but I am a huge Glenn Miller fan and hope to find another copy soon. But its RARE.
