Description

The Beatles "Meet The Beatles" stereo LP with the cover cataloged as [CAP 2047.SC1A (Spizer)] with brown letters, no George Martin credit, the #3 pressing plant number, and the needle statement.  The east coast record is cataloged as [CAP 2047.SR1A (Spizer)] without BMI or ASCAP.  This is priced to go as the spine has a total seamsplit, with smaller seamsplits beginning at the top and bottom edge.  As seen in the photo, the number 13 is written in marker on the front and back (with a name also on the back).  The cool thing is the record labels are clean with no writing - sure, they're somewhat worn from age but this is the real thing.  This VG record, especially in stereo, is ultra-rare (this one has no skips and no major scratches).  At one time is was said that less than 20 are known to still exist.   They are the true, true very first Meet The Beatles albums produced - and only on the east coast.  This would be perfect for someone who has a better cover.  Comes with an original east coast blue inner sleeve.  U.S. buyer to pay $6.00 for double-boxed priority shipping (media mail available at $3.00 upon request).  International buyer to inquire for shipping costs.  Insurance is at the discretion of the buyer.  Priced to go.  Please email me with any questions.
