Description

Melvin Davis - 'Find A Quiet Place( and be Lonely)' b/w 'This Ain't The Way' - Wheel City(W-1003)1965.  Original press of this very rare Detroit two-sider. 'Quiet Place' has become well-known in northern circles, but the flip is a taut rocker that is nearly as good to my ears.  Examination of the runoff groove reveals the regular 'Sheldon' cursive stamp, & MW 850 / MW 851 respectively.  CONDITION:  the vinyl surface is a nice EXplus with only a couple faint sleeve scuffs - sounds great...BUT there is a slight storage warp that must be noted - tracks fine on my turntable under various tonearm weights.  Pen squiggle on a-side label.  GRADING NOTE: I use M/EX/VG/G/F/P & almost never grade anything 'Mint'.  SHIPPING: Domestic shipping three dollars via first class, overseas costs depend on location( usually 6 dollars to UK/Europe).
