Description

SR 90488, RODRIGO, Concierto Andaluz, Concierto de Aranjuez, Angel Romero / San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, Victor Alessandro, conductor, CTFR2/CTFR1.  This is NOT a reissue – it is the original 50+ year old pressing. It is one of the best of the Mercury Living Presence LPs and spent many years on HP's TAS Super Disk List.  The guitar sound is big, warm, lush and very realistic with a wonderful hall ambiance and pinpoint imaging.  The stage is wide and deep with big dynamics.  This copy is my own, and the vinyl surfaces are very clean, glossy and VERY quiet with no pops, clicks or skips. It is very close to a perfect copy.  There are no visible scuffs and the vinyl grading is MINT.  The labels are clean with no spindle trails (see photos). The jacket is NM with only very slight wear (see photos).  In summary, this is a beautiful copy of this wonderfully dynamic golden age recording.  Feel free to return for full refund if not completely satisfied.
