Description
Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of the Miles Davis 'All Stars Volume 1' 10" LP on Prestige Records PRLP-196. The musicians include Percy Heath, Milt Jackson, Kenny Clarke, and Theolonious Monk.
Record info:
Excellent condition with a few minor scuffs and surface noise. It plays great!
Cover info:
VG+ with some seam wear with a small amount of splitting on top left corner seams. There is a large crease on the bottom right corner. The front cover has a library style #d sticker on top left corner. The back cover has a sticker with the name of the previous owner on top left corner. The back cover has a short cut into the artwork along the jacket opening in the all white area (see photo).
Label / Pressing info:
Original 446 W. 50th St. address deep groove mono press with RVG initials on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
