Miles Davis et al: COLLECTOR'S ITEM (Esquire, 1956) 32-030
VINYL: EX- (glossy with some very light hairlines and surface marks. Plays beautifully with just occasional subtle surface noise on quiet passages)
LABELS: EX+ (clean and spotless)
SLEEVE: VG++ (edges tight, no splits. Generally excellent. Small amount of lamination wear on cover)
NOTES: Rare UK issue on Esquire. "RVG" hand-etched in dead wax. Label has deep groove. Hand-etched matrix: PRLP-7044-A / PRLP-7044-B.
A NOTE ABOUT GRADING
I use the Goldmine grading system.
I ALWAYS play-test records, and NEVER grade by sight alone. A record that looks perfect can sound awful, and a scuffed record can play beautifully. I test every record on my Pro-Ject turntable with Ortofon OM-10 stylus, and they are professionally cleaned prior to playing.
