Description
This is a very rare release of the Morrissey Viva Hate LP. Released in 1988 in Japan on the Toshiba EMI label (catalogue Ref RP28-5611), the LP comes with the original OBI band and also a very interesting 7" promo of Hairdresser on Fire. The 7" Hairdresser single has often been separated from the album and sold independently, and is becoming very hard to find both the Viva Hate LP and Hairdresser 7" together.
The Hairdresser 7" is a beautiful etched 1-sided 7" single (catalogue Ref BRP-1017). Side 1 contains Hairdresser on Fire, whilst side 2 is etched with "Morrissey Hairdresser on Fire" and the image of the Suedehead photo. It comes with an inner sleeve containing the lyrics to Hairdresser in both English and Japanese. The front main sleeve contains the classic topless photograph of Morrissey in black and white, along with the words "This single available on with Japanese copies of Viva Hate"
Both the LP and 7" have been kept in protective plastic sleeves and therefore are both in excellent condition. This is a highly collectable item amongst Morrissey fans and is rare to find as a complete package.
