        Mott's second album is their first great one. A dense, heavy collection, the mix is warm; the bass is mixed very high, even by '70's standards. Hunter's ballads (Mott songs) are spell-binding "No Wheels to Ride"  and "When My Minds Gone". In both these songs Hunter's impassioned singing is incredibly convincing......
        The power-ballad "No Wheels to Ride" will in time, outlive anything Meatloaf (or Jim Steinman) ever did
