Mudhoney: Superfuzz Bigmuff 12" EP Mini LP
I bought this record when it was originally released back in 1988 and it has been looked after as part of my personal record collection ever since. It is the original European vinyl pressing on Glitterhouse Records, on license from Sub Pop and includes the classic track, 'Touch Me I'm Sick' (which replaces 'Need' which was the first song on the original US version of this album).
The sleeve is in really nice shape for a 32 year old record with only some very mild handling wear. Please take the time to scroll through all the photos to see the great condition. The spine is still fully readable as you can see in the third photo, but there is a very slight light crease on the back of the sleeve, but its really nothing noticeable unless you're after absolutely perfect! I thought I should mention it as it's there in any case, but check the photos. The inner sleeve is the original, plain white and both the inner and outer sleeves have no seam splits.
There are a few light marks and hairlines on the vinyl as you'd expect, but only really noticeable when scrutinised under a very bright light. I have just cleaned it in my professional record cleaning machine with the award winning L'Art Du Son fluid so it is now free from dust and static and in the best possible condition ready for the new owner to enjoy. I also just test played it all the way through on both sides on my Project Debut Carbon turntable fitted with an Ortefon 2M Blue stylus. It sits perfectly flat on the deck and plays through beautifully with barely any surface noise and absolutely no skipping, sticking or jumping. After cleaning I noticed a small mark or what looks like a surface scratch on the first track on one side so I have played this particular section several times to make sure that you cannot hear anything... The sound is 100% unaffected, not even a quiet click or tick! The whole EP/LP sounds awesome still and is in great condition with just a tiny bit of very, light warm vinyl crackle in between the tracks and on the quieter sections. Not many quiet sections either so just crank it up loud and enjoy!
