Description

THE MERCIER PRESS LIMITED, CORK, IRL 9, 1969, GREEN GROOVED LABELS WITH SILVER LETTERING.  AN GHAOTH ANIAR, THE WEST WIND - NA FILI.  An early recording of this great Irish traditional folk trio.  The line-up has Reamonn O Se on whistle, who was replaced  by Tom Barry on the later recordings on the Outlet label (see my other listings).  Tomas O Canainn and Matt Cranitch make up the trio.  The disc and sleeve are both in beautiful condition and graded NEAR MINT.  This is a particularly collectible record, and it even has a price sticker of 40/- on the rear of the sleeve.  It must be worth more than that today!
