NICK DRAKE

'PINK MOON'

ISLAND RECORDS cat# ILPS 9184 ~ Stereo 1972 Original beautiful melancholy LP

Among the best UK Folk records, and featuring his late tv ad 'hit' "PINK MOON"......which is not alone in being a standout track here of course. There's definitely a 'ghostly' feel to the recordings here, knowing that his depression was eventually drifting him towards a sad death, such a lost soul and now a lost talent. It's a quality album throughout and a lovely pressing too, heavy vinyl and nicely produced. This is a fine piece, especially in such wonderful shape.

See my feedback, and other items for sale. ===============================

Condition; The VINYL is wonderful EX or NM- CONDITION with FULL shine! Plays magnificently - this is the original LP in well kept shape. I have had this many years stored in controlled temperature and handled with utmost care, and played only using quality equipment.
Lables are clean but had some pen (?) rubbed away, and a small area of the paper shows damage. I grade them VG+ due to this (see photos). .... The GATEFOLD COVER grades EX. No seam splits and minimal handling wear, light stain to the front in one small area (see photos) The title edge is solid. An outstanding copy. ........... I WILL BE AWAY FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST, AFTER WHICH I WILL POST SOLD ITEMS (this does not affect any other auction aspects) *
