Why does this guy have all of these awesome records for sale?

Hello!! My name is George and I've been fanatically collecting records for 12 years or so. Until 2 years ago, I listened to only rock. For the past 2 years I have been a Jazz fanatic. I am listening primarily to Jazz now, so I am cleaning out a bunch of Rock/Punk/New Wave albums that I no longer listen to (being "middle aged", my days of listening to angry loud music are for the most part over!). I'll keep some for sentimental reasons, but most have to go.

What makes these records worth the money?

My descriptions and grading are extremely accurate (please check my feedback). I am also a collector, so I grade, list, package, and ship records the way I like them to be shipped to me. If the albums haven't already been cleaned, you have the option of having your album(s)  professionally cleaned using a VPI 16.5 vacuum record cleaning machine, Disc Doctor brushes, and Record Research lab cleaning fluids. The price is $3 per record. What does "near mint" mean if the record hasn't been properly cleaned? Not much in my book! You will be shocked at the difference a proper cleaning makes! Here is the process:

1 - Dry brushed with an audioquest anti-static record cleaner brush

2 - Cleaned with RRL Super vinyl wash and vacuumed.

3 - Cleaned with RRL Super vinyl rinse and vacuumed

4 - flipped over and repeated on other side.

After the record is cleaned it is once again inspected under very bright light. All cleaned albums are placed in a rice paper record sleeve to ensure that it remains pristine. The original sleeve is placed inside the cover, and the album is placed behind the cover, with the cover and album placed in a protective plastic sleeve.

All albums are mailed in official record mailers from Bags Unlimited. All of this work requires a lot of extra time and money, but I would not even consider selling albums any other way.

Rest assured that you are buying a record from a vinyl nut (hence the store name), and I mail albums the way I like to receive them, as described and properly packaged.

Sealed records policy - I am not responsible for sealed records that are shipped still sealed. If you buy a sealed album, after you pay for it I will happily open it up, inspect it, and clean it for you. If it is damaged or has any imperfections, I will let you know and you can decide if you want your money back or not.

My personal album grading system is as follows:

Near Mint (NM) - New or looks new. No imperfections worth mentioning.

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) - Very slight wear or imperfections. Just not up to the near mint standards.

Very Good Plus (VG+) - slight wear or imperfections. Covers may have the start of ringwear on the top or bottom. Records may have light scratches or imperfections that may cause a pop or tick. This will be the grade I will give some records, and most covers.

Very Good - Obvious wear and imperfections. Covers will have obvious ringwear or other imperfection that bothers me. Albums will have loss of luster and scratches that affect play. Unless rare, I will not be listing records that are VG.

Good - Yard sale, Flea market junky record. Unless super rare, I will list no album in this condition. Records in this condition are not worth cleaning, and if they’re not worth cleaning, they’re not worth listing.
