Description
This 12” diameter, 33 1/3 rpm, long-playing, vinyl record is Miles Davis “Kind of Blue”, Columbia #CL 1355 ©1959, mono. It’s got the six ‘eye’ label design surrounding the deep groove channel beneath. Machine stamped matrix numbers are XLP47324-1D and XLP47325-1AD. Were it not for a bit of spindle trail on the side two label (indicating that side one has been played) I’d be tempted to assume by the appearance of the vinyl that this was an unplayed record. The jacket is VG++. Its seams are solid with totally intact spine text. It has no writing, stickers, stains, creases or blunted corners. The back cover slick is nice and straight and still quite bright. Cover slick and lower portion of opening edge have a minor amount of rubbing wear but is almost without ring wear (unusual for a dark-colored jacket of this vintage). The record’s playing surfaces are near mint.
