Description
About This Record. This is an original limited edition copy of the "Desert Island Disc" Series from the week of December 21, 1992. It was a radio show thing and features contemporary artists, in 1992, selecting their favorite Led Zeppelin songs with a short introduction. Weirdly Keith Emerson speaks first and chooses "Black Dog" and then Max Weinberg insists upon playing "Over the Hills and Far Away" after which Ian Anderson spins "Ramble On" which is followed up by one of my favorites, "Kashmir" that was chosen by Paul Rodgers. And if that is not enough mind-blowing stuff, well . . . there is Side Two which opens with Billy Squier's request for Heartbreaker/Living Lovin' Maid" followed by John Waites (really!) pick of "Whole Lotta Love." Joey Molland follows ups with"Rock N' Roll" before Kenney Jones (OMG!???) finishes by requiring that Led Zep's Stairway to hHeaven be played.

Cover: The blank white cover is in perfect shape but just a plain white hole-in-the-middle cover. Please see photos in case I might have missed or forgotten to say something.
Inserts Includes both inserts that came with this you can see in the photos, from MJI Broadcasting including a cover letter and then the DJ sheet listing the songs and the persons (noted above) who requested them. The inserts are in nice shape other than the DJ "X'ing Out each obligatory part of this promo that he/she was required to play as a DJ (meaning pen marks struck across each part of the DJ Que sheet as you can see from my photos) but I removed the staple to photograph them; the creases in the promo inserts were there near the staple before I removed the staple because someone folded over the front page a few times.

BUT PLEASE WAIT for my invoice and request one when you are done bidding. eBay makes it very difficult to refund excess shipping if you pay for multiple items you want in the same package. All my records come carefully packed after I clean them on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place them in a new rice-paper sleeve so they will be ready for you to play.
Vinyl Grading: My grading [Cover/Vinyl] F/G-/G/G+/VG-/VG/VG+/EX-/EX/EX+/NM/Sealed. Records are visually graded unless otherwise indicated because some of these blues recordings, are by nature, not the best recordings and everybody has a different point of view about what a NM looking records plays like when the source are old recordings that themselves have crackle, etc.
